Our Story
Sleepy Trucker started with a simple vision.
For years, my husband, Bill, talked about creating a brand that truly represented the hardworking people in the blue-collar community. As truck driver, he knows firsthand what it’s like to fight that sleepy feeling while staying focused on the road, meeting deadlines, and making sure every load arrives safely. That’s where the name Sleepy Trucker was born.
As his wife, I’ve always believed in his vision. Watching him dedicate his life to this industry has made me incredibly proud. Bill has worked as a mechanic, technician, and truck driver for longer than I’ve been alive. He recently had a knee replacement after years of wear and tear from the job, and it reminded us that there was no better time to finally bring this dream to life.
Living in a rural community has also shown me something I’ll never take for granted—the incredible work ethic, generosity, and sense of community that blue-collar families share. Whether you’re a truck driver, farmer, welder, mechanic, construction worker, lineman, or anyone else who works with their hands, you know what it means to show up every day, work hard, and take pride in what you do.
That’s who Sleepy Trucker is for.
We want to create high-quality apparel that reflects the people who wear it—gear you can be proud to put on, built for the blue-collar lifestyle without sacrificing quality.
But our dream goes beyond apparel.
As Sleepy Trucker grows, we hope to give back to the community that inspired it. One of our biggest goals is to establish scholarships for students, GED graduates, and anyone pursuing a career in the skilled trades. We also hope to support blue-collar families in need, sponsor community events, attend trucking conventions, and invest in the small towns and hardworking communities that mean so much to us.
We know none of that happens overnight, but every great journey starts somewhere. We’re grateful for everyone who chooses to be part of ours.
